Haha, fair enough. Seems like you’ve thought it through pretty well, kudos to you.

One thing I noticed when I incidentally cut out carbs and sugar couple of years ago was how your taste buds change after a couple of weeks; suddenly anything even slightly sweet tastes like pure sugar. It’s a bit like a super power. I’d love to try it again more sensibly, especially now I’ve got a 50 hour week sit down job.

Good luck with it though. Even if it’s not long term, always good to have a detox now and then.

why are you doing keto?

I couldn’t find any in the crappy deli shops available to me at the time :(
Ajeet told me about it and it took me a while to get my head around the theory but it sounds like the perfect diet for me, as I’m so enthusiastic about cheese and butter and all things fatty. I also have had a pretty shit diet for about a year now and with that comes bloating and feeling tired all the time which is no fun.
I’ve woken up at a decent time not feeling even slightly tired for the past 3 days now and although I was feeling shitty I think I’m starting to become keto adapted and it feels awesome.

Also you get to eat like a king and because your protein intake is enough to keep muscle but burn fat you become lean so hopefully those months I did of furiously trying to tone up will actually start showing through. Its also generally recommended you take it easy exercise wise on this diet so it’s win-win for a lazy ass like myself ;)

Just research it a little, theres tonnes of benefits to it, I just don’t wanna preach too much.

okay seriously if you’re in a relationship or even a friendship and you find yourself spending more time crying out of sadness or arguing with them, leave them. i don’t care if they’re a modern day aphrodite/adonis or a gift bestowed upon you by the gods. toxic people are dangerous and i highly advise cutting them out of your life and finding someone who makes you laugh until you snort your drink out your nose instead.
